FOUNDATION
How to select the appropriate foundation:
It’s easy! Apply a vertical line of Flawless Finish Foundation with a Q-Tip or Cover-it Brush on the jaw line, blending it out; the right shade will disappear into the skin. If it’s too light, it will be “pasty” looking, if it is too dark, it will look like “dirt”.
Apply a small amount of product on the tip of the Ultimate Buffer Brush – swirl the product in the lid to disperse the foundation evenly on the brush. This is an important step, because less is more with this make-up. Apply in a circular motion, starting at the jaw line (working your way around the face). The right brush makes ALL the difference in how the make-up looks. (You will be more satisfied with the make-up if you use the appropriate brush when you take the product home). The foundation always looks better approximately 20 minutes after application, once the minerals warm up on the skin. You’ll notice a difference!
Use the Cover-It Foundation Brush to apply the Flawless Finish Foundation around the areas of the nose, under eyes and on eye lids, over blemishes, and hyper pigmentation.
Larger pores? Minimize the look of larger pores on nose by using a small latex sponge (dry or slighly damp). Apply a small amount of foundation onto sponge working it over the area where concealing is necessary. Buff out with Ultimate Buffer Brush or Cover-it Foundation Brush. Finish with a light dusting of Matte Setting Powder.

MATTE SETTING POWDER
Creates a nice porcelain matte finish, sets make-up and makes pores look invisible. It is highly recommended for clients who have t-zone oil or oilier skin conditions. The kaolin clay helps to absorb the excess oil. Translucent Setting Powder does not contain the clay.

BRONZERS/BLUSH
Light Reflecting Blush beautifully highlights and contours the cheeks. Apply in the areas that the sun hits the skin... cheeks, temples, nose, and chin. Less is more when it comes to using mineral make-up. UltraPure blush is highly pigmented, therefore it is important to use it sparingly making sure you disburse it properly onto your brush. It might be best to practice using the product before applying to yourself so you know how much you should use. (The same goes for the eye shadows).
Honey, Cinnamon and Nutmeg Flawless Finish Foundations also double as bronzers. Tip: another favorite of ours is Soft Brown Semi-Matte Eye Shadow (ES43M), which is the perfect bronzing shade. Also try Copper (ES32) or Sun Shimmer (ES31) for that warm, just off the beach look. Try Pink Ice or Pink Shimmer for instant sparkle either on cheeks or decollete. Remember, these products have versatility!

FX EYE SHADOWS
Can be used wet or dry and/or as an eye liner.
Apply a light eye shadow as a highlighter all over the lid. Second, apply a darker complimentary color in the crease of the eye. Look at the flecks in the eye, and usually a similar color can be used in the crease to accentuate the eye area. Line the eye with the Perfectly Natural Eye Liner Pencils, and finish by setting the line with the Soften-It Eye Liner Brush and some shadow. This will keep the liner in place for the day.
Tip: Espresso and Teak Eye Liner doubles for a brow definer. Teak can also be used as a warm brown lip liner. Staff favorite: Blanc (white) Perfectly Natural Eye Liner can lighten up the eyes and really make them sparkle. Try a darker liner on the bottom lid, and Blanc on the top to open up the eyes!

SET YOUR MAKE-UP
Try our new Hydra-Peptide Infusion Spay! An infusion of antioxidants and peptides to keep your skin looking youthful and hydrated. Apply liberally after cleansing.
Also apply sparingly after make-up application to “set” your make-up for all-day wearability. Keep your Infusion spray handy for an occasional hyrdating spritz during the day!

LIPS
Layering your lip products will really help keep the colors on throughout the day. We suggest lining and shaping the lips with a lip liner. If you like natural colors choose Flirt (a natural shade) then apply your lipstick or lipgloss over it.

BRUSHES
Choosing the correct brush is critical if you want your make-up to look its best. UltraPure Cosmetics offers brushes that are specifically made to work with mineral make-up products. Our brushes are made with the finest goat and pony hair ( no animals are harmed in the process). We recommend the Ultimate Buffer Brush which will give you that fresh "airbrushed" look. For hard to reach areas (around eyes and nose) and where more concealing may be necessary, we recommend the Cover-It Foundation Brush. The Baby Buki doubles as a compact travel buki brush or for a contouring blush brush.
